grandma is grateful!
"Rachel worked a miracle with our strong-willed, water-averse granddaughter. She was determined to not get in the water, and she had a million reasons why it was a bad idea.
Rachel saw through her excuses, was patient but firm, and by the end of 4 lessons our 3 year old was asking to go swimming! Rachel is a kid-whisperer, and it was really fun to watch her in action. I highly recommend Get Ahead Swim Lessons, LLC!"

Adult student perspective
"Rachel was a joy to work with. As a new adult learner who absolutely hated water even being splashed in my face, she gave me the courage and confidence I needed to embrace the challenge in learning how to swim.
I would recommend her services for any learner, at any age, and at any skill level."

private lessons for the win!
"Rachel's lessons were wonderful. Her personality made my 2 boys very comfortable and excited to swim with her. She is knowledgeable and patient, and my kids made lots of progress learning with her.
There's nothing like 1:1 swim lessons to focus on your child, they engage in a different way, and feel more confident. I would definitely recommend her."

from hesitant to head first
"Ms. Rachel is an amazing swim instructor! My daughter would not even get her face wet for the first lesson but by the end of the summer she was fetching toys under water! Ms. Rachel is very patient and super knowledgeable about swimming. We definitely miss her in NC!"

Learning through Play keeps the boredom away
"Rachel is a wonderful swim teacher. She worked well with our very headstrong and independent 2.5 year old grandson using play to instruct him, knowing exactly how to redirect when he wanted to go off and do his own thing.
She not only taught swim techniques but pool safety as well. I don’t think he ever realized she was leading and teaching him. He just thought she was there to play with him."
